Manhattan Mystique was a fun and challenging project originally inspired by the noir theme and the video game Deadlock. Working with Cody, Max, and Thomas was truly amazing, and their playing skills are just incredible. Thank you to the Jazz Hop Café team for working with us to make this EP. Each song tells a story and the journey the detective takes to find his culprit, from receiving their first call, to searching clues in the archives, running into a dead-end, finding a witness, meeting his former lover who runs an illegal speakeasy for more clues, having a showdown with the culprit and catching them, and finally, the case coming to an end. While things may be calmer now, the city never sleeps and is filled with mystery. Something deeper and more sinister lurks in the shadows. Until next time, my friends.
